Christmas is officially 2 and a half months away. In this case we have to start getting ready. Today we are going to be starting off with some simple Christmas candle ideas.

Sometimes Christmas candles can get a bit pricey so why not make them yourselves for much cheaper.

So let’s get started with the first one. This one will be a candleholder.

Christmas Candle Holder

This first one is simple and STUNNING. It’s quite simple actually, all you need is a glass vase or candle holder of your choice. I decided to go with a glass candle holder that mocks the look of selenite crystals. I got mine from HomeGoods for only $9.99 which is a STEAL

I wanted to make a snow effect on the candleholder. So I purchased a snow foam blaster from Shinoda Design Center and sprayed it all over the top and lightly towards the middle. This way I get a look as if snow is falling.

Lately I purchased a beautiful candle wreath from HomeGoods for Only $9.99 which is a great deal for the quality. I then placed the candleholder in the middle and placed a candle inside and Voilà!! The look was complete and it was oh so simple.

The next look is a way you can decorate your candles with some Christmas candle picks.

Christmas Candle Decor Using Picks

To start off all you need is some Christmas pick from your local crafts store. I purchased everything except the candles from Hobby Lobby. The candles were from the 99cent store. Gotta keep those costs low 🙂

Basically, the idea for this one is to create a simple and affordable decor. I wanted to mock the look of a garland without actually purchasing one. So I started by purchasing Christmas picks. I placed them around the two candles.

Next, I purchased a small and cute sign from Hobby Lobby as well and placed it in between the two front picks.

How SIMPLE was that!!! You left with a gorgeous look you can place on a coffee table, dining table, console table, etc.

Next, Is how to decorate the candle itself.

2 Simple Christmas Candle Decor

For the first look you will need glue, ribbon, scissors, small snowflake ornaments, and mini green garland.

To start, cut the ribbon and glue towards the top of the candle. Next glue the small snowflake on the ribbon. Now wait until that’s dry.

You want to make sure this completely dried before doing the next step because you don’t want the ribbon or the snowflake to keep falling. Then you take the thing garland and wrap it around the bottom.

As you can see, you don’t have to spend too much to get the Christmas candles you want. DIY’s are the best and very inexpensive.

These beautiful candle looks were quite easy to make and they are really affordable!!
