Hello Everyone, and welcome back to another blog post.

This time around, we will be talking about modern abstract art and how you can make your own with a few simple steps.

I love abstract and modern art. The problem is I do not love paying so much money to get one.

You can always find more affordable modern art at places like HomeGoods, but the problem is sometimes it not the style or color combo that you want.

Personally, In my house, I wanted a Fuschia colored abstract art that was textured.

I could never really find any that were in my budget!!!

Personally, for a while, I was very frustrated because I could not find anything I loved.

So I decided to create one of my own!!!!

You can do this by purchasing the material you need to be able to create your abstract art.

I started by purchasing two 18 X 24 Inch canvases. The thickness was about 1 ½ inch.

https://www.michaels.com/gallery-wrapped-heavy-duty-canvas-level-3-by-artists-loft/M10240777.html?dwvar_M10240777_size=12%22%20x%2012%22&dwvar_M10240777_color=White

I started by evenly distributing the dap spackling paste all over the canvas.

I smoothed it all out using the smallest spatula in the set.

Next, I took the artist palette and placed all of my paints on there.

The following step is to take the back of the small spatula from artist loft and dip it into the black paint and make small short strokes on both corners of the canvas.

Try to make the black the darkest in the corners and fade the color when it gets towards the middle.

Moreover, start by adding the darker magenta color and fade it into the light magenta.

Do that on both sides and leave the middle white and just make strokes.

Once you have done that, take the glitter acrylic paint and dip the back of the small spatula and evenly distribute it all over the canvas.

After the painting has dried paint, the sides of the canvas all black to give it the finished look.

Repeat the same steps on the next canvas, but make sure that they are in the opposite direction.

You are now left with the finished look, you can always add a spray varnish to give it a little bit of a more shiny look but that up to you.

Hopefully, this inspires you to create your art and save yourself some money!!!
