Hello everyone, I have always loved Christmas village displays. You can decorate them in many different places in your home.

One fun way to decorate a Christmas village is to find a three-tiered table, and place the village sets on that. It sort of mimics the look of a tree due to the layers of the table.

Prepping The Three-Tiered Table

The three-tiered table I have is actually quite antique. In order to freshen it up and give it a brighter look, I decided to paint it white. I used white acrylic paint to do so. Painting the table white will also be great because it will make it look like snow on the base of each tier.

You can try to find a similar table probably at your local antique or thrift store. To make a smaller version you can use a smaller one which i will link below.

Placing Snow Blankets On Table

After the paint has dried I decided to cover each tier with a snow blanket. This way it looks like there is snow. To give it a more realistic feel I added more fake snow and added iridescent snowballs.

I did that for each tier this way it looks like there is snow on the floor of the villages.

Placing The Villages On The Table

Finally, you can start by placing the villages in whatever order you like. Personally I added small things on the top tier since it was smaller. I added a couple homes, people, bridges, trees, a fountain, etc.

I purchased my homes, people, bridges, etc. over the years. You can find these in many different stores as well such as Walmart, Amazon, hobby lobby, and Michaels.

How To Place Garland Around Each Tier

I personally did not use a garland because I felt that even the thinnest one was too thick. I didn’t want the garland covering all the people so I decided to use garland ties.

Next, I tied together with the garland ties until I got the length I needed. I used the snow spray to make it look like snow fell on them.

I then secured them around each tier using tiny little command hooks. This kept them secure and held them in place.
