Today’s blog post will be on another style dining table tablescape idea.
There are many different ways to decorate your dining table for the fall. Previously, on our last couple of posts on dining table decor, they featured some larger tables.
Today we will be focusing on a smaller dining table. This dining table is also a more classical style table.
We will be using some items that we have used in our other posts but there will be some items that are different.
To start off we will be looking at how to set up our plates for the dining table.
Fall Plate Setting
We will start by placing a placemat for the three chairs that we have. The style placemat is a modern rustic theme but also matches in with the classical style look.
Next, I started by placing a charger plate that says “thankful” in the middle. In my fall tablescape dining table post, I had talked about how you can use clear plates. This way your dining table is ready to use.
Placing clear plates will let the word tankful show through. This was you are not hiding the word and it looks beautiful.
I purchased these plates from home good. They are made in turkey and have a beautiful gold outline on them. The only place I could find the exact ones was on eBay.
I will try to place a link to a similar one so you can still access a similar type of plate.
Below I have placed a link to some plastic plates and glass plates. Both will work, the plastic ones are for if you want to toss them out after they are used. Also if you don’t want to purchase a new set of plates these will work just fine.
Once we place the plates we can place a fall pumpkin pick on top to complete the look. You can always switch this out for a napkin and napkin holder.

Fall Dining Table Centerpiece
Lastly, we have to decorate the center of the table. We can do this by placing a small vase. In the vase, we will place a fall floral arrangement.
Next to it, we will place two pumpkins. One of the pumpkins says “hello harvest”. The other pumpkin is an orange glass pumpkin.

The last thing we have to do is place a pumpkin-shaped salt and pepper shaker.
Fall Decor in Multiple Areas
If you have seen our last posts some items are the same or similar items. This is because we want to give you the idea that you don’t necessarily have to spend too much on decor.
You can always mix and match what you have to complete the look you want. Fall decor shouldn’t break your bank. 🙂
Mixing and matching things you already have can work. You can use the same type of items, for example, the pumpkins. You can place those on your coffee table, dining table, console table, etc.
This way you can make the most out of the items you already have.
